ABOUT THE BAND

Cousin Simple is lead vocalist Harsh Hoag (22), lead guitarist Ryan Ulibarri (21), and bassist Mitch Whittaker (21). The Columbus group became best friends in middle school and began playing and writing music in Mitch’s basement in the 8th grade. Since then, they have played over 100 live shows both locally and around the Midwest including Wonderbus, Van’s Warped Tour, and multiple sold-out headlining shows. Musically, Cousin Simple draws from The Rolling Stones, The Strokes, and The Killers—to name a few. With rock and roll roots, extremely energetic live shows, and anthemic hooks, Cousin Simple brings a new and exciting spin to music today. Recently they opened for AJR at Express live for iHeart Radio Columbus’ Jingle Jam and they look forward to releasing new music as well.
